Spencer continues to architect his vision for serving communities impacted by natural or manmade disasters. He has a passion for helping property owners restore the value of their assets to pre-disaster conditions. Spencer strives to deliver a level of integrity and professionalism not typical in the insurance consulting and restoration industry.
With more than 15 years of experience in the field, Spencer served as President of Affiliated Residential Roofing prior to founding Standpoint. He facilitated significant growth during his tenure, ultimately pushing the company into a top ten position. Prior to Affiliated, Spencer started his career at RSA and was the top residential salesman and project manager after only his first year. His success ultimately led him to leading multiple offices nationwide. This is where his desire for helping homeowners and businesses truly excelled. In addition to Standpoint, Spencer is an entrepreneur at heart and has several ventures in his portfolio. He is always looking for ways to leverage business acumen and technology to disrupt industries.
Spencer holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a dedicated husband and father and is actively involved in youth sports with his children.
Paul serves Standpoint in many capacities, and his responsibilities impact all aspects of the company. His background as an executive leader includes operations, government affairs, investment transactions, complex business acquisitions, intellectual property and risk management. His experience in founding and growing a large-scale restoration firm is well suited to bring Standpoint to the forefront of the industry.
Before joining Standpoint, Paul was of counsel at Matheson Keys DafferKordzik Law Firm where he represented business entities, entrepreneurs and investors in a wide array of corporate and business transactions, including merger and acquisition transactions and equity and debt financing transactions. Previously, Paul served as executive vice president & chief legal officer of Associa, one of the nation’s largest property management companies. Prior to his 11 years at Associa, Paul served as legislative committee director and staff attorney for Texas state senator John Carona.
Paul has received recognition for his career achievements by D CEO, Texas Lawyer, and The Latino American Who’s Who. He has served as a board member of Lake Highlands YMCA, Lake Highlands Area Improvement Association and St. Patrick School’s Pats Club, and is a member of the Lake Highlands Exchange Club, Knights of Columbus and USAB amateur boxing organization and former member of the L Streets Neighborhood Association and Sierra Club.
Paul earned his bachelor of science degree from Tampa University, his juris doctorate degree from Tulane University and his MBA from Southern Methodist University. He lives in Dallas with his wife, Claire, and their two daughters Lily and Laura.
As chief operating officer of Standpoint, Matt leads operations, sales, marketing, human resources and product development. His previous experience is well suited for innovating and improving on customer experience in the restoration space.
Prior to Standpoint, Matt served as an executive for Associa, one of the nation’s largest property management companies. During his tenure, he oversaw sales, marketing, developer services and other strategic initiatives. He built a national marketing and sales infrastructure and provided the company with record growth. Matt played a major role in leading the company’s evolution, including consolidating accounting into a shared service center environment. Matt also had responsibilities for training, organization development, system implementation, strategic planning and acquisition integration.
Matt earned his bachelor of science degree in economics from Arizona State and his MBA from Southern Methodist University.
Jon navigates legal and compliance issues for the company and supports operations on strategic business initiatives. Prior to Standpoint, Jon served as a Partner at a large, international law firm; a managing partner of a small law firm; and as a General Counsel for a highly regulated private company.
Jon has spent the last 18 years in dispute resolution, commercial negotiations, and risk management on high-profile matters and representing large companies in various industries, including insurance, transportation, real estate, professional services, manufacturing, retail, and technology. Jon has served as lead counsel on litigation in more than 25 jurisdictions across the country. Jon uses his analytical abilities to effectively resolve issues and implement corporate business solutions to maximize operations. Jon is a graduate of Princeton University, where he was a pitcher on the Princeton Tigers baseball team. Jon is also an honors graduate of The George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the International Law Review and obtained the highest grade ever for an advanced-level negotiations course. Upon graduation, Jon was one of just five graduates to receive a law school award, the ABA Award for Outstanding Accomplishment in the field of Employment Law.
Jon is a proud father of boy-girl twins and spends most of his free time at his kids’ sporting events. When time permits, Jon likes to fish and relax on the beach.
With close to 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Tom oversees all accounting and finance functions at Standpoint. Tom joined Standpoint following 13 years at Associa, one of the nation’s largest property management companies, where he served as senior vice president of financial planning and reporting, with an emphasis on budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
Prior to Associa, Tom served as CFO of C.C. Young, a non-profit senior living community, as Controller for Merit Energy Company, a private oil and gas producer, and as an auditor with public accounting firm Ernst & Young.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Tom holds bachelors degrees in Accounting and Finance. He lives in Dallas with his wife of 30 years and has three children. Tom has a lifelong passion for soccer and continues to play in adult leagues.
Bob brings more than 25 years of corporate finance and operations experience in both small and large companies in the service and manufacturing sectors, with extensive experience in strategic planning, process re-engineering, bank financing and raising capital.
Bob previously served as CFO of Susan G. Komen, partner at the financial consulting firm Seaton HIll LLC, Senior Vice President/CFO of Associa, senior managing director of Outsource Partners International, CFO-Rail Group of Trinity Industries, and in management roles at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and Ernst & Young.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin and lives in Dallas with his family.
Brent leads the pre-construction, operations and project management for all of Standpoint’s projects. Prior to joining Standpoint, Brent spent 18 years in the construction and home-building business. Throughout his career, Brent invested in real estate and successfully oversaw renovations, additions, new construction projects, commercial projects and residential developments.
Brent started his career working for Livingston Builders in 2000 as an Assistant Project Manager building mid-rise luxury condominiums in West Palm Beach. Brent attended Southern Methodist University where he had a scholarship in Engineering and studied Mechanical Engineering and Economics. In 2005 he was the youngest to earn the Certified Graduate Builder designation from the Home Builders Association and in 2014 he earned the Preservation Award for a total home renovation project. He lives in Lake Highlands with his wife, Amy, and their two children, Kallie and Brayden.
As a vice president at Standpoint, Jordan serves in many capacities. He leads regional operations and strategic partnerships, as well as our Claims Advantage Network. Jordan has ten years of experience in the restoration industry. With a background in commercial and residential roofing construction, he has assisted thousands of commercial and residential owners in restoring property from insurance-related claims. His in-depth knowledge of assessing damage, assisting property owners and settling insurance claims helps bring properties back to pre-storm condition.
Jordan graduated from Texas Pan American in 2009 with a BS in sports science.
As vice president, Donny Disbro oversees national commercial sales. His 20 years in HOAs and property management made Donny a perfect addition to the Standpoint team. He spent 17 years at Professional Community Management, one of the largest property management companies in California. Most recently, Donny has been involved in property management software; specifically, he’s managed data, analytics and technology solutions for HOA/community association management companies.
Donny earned his BS degree in business administration at Chapman University. He then earned his MBA and served on the University’s Board of Counselors for the Argyros School of Business and Economics.
Kelly oversees production operations for Standpoint’s Dallas clients. Kelly is responsible for on-site operations including personnel, materials, construction budget, project schedule and contract administration. In addition, she manages commercial pre-construction operations such as document development and distribution, bid solicitation and budget creation.
Kelly is an experienced construction project manager and estimator with a 20-year record of successfully overseeing all phases of multimillion-dollar construction projects. She has an extensive background in design, estimating, contract management and project supervision in the commercial and residential markets.
Kelly holds a degree in Environmental Design with an emphasis in Construction Management from Texas A&M University.
With two decades of wide ranging experience in the fire service industry, Kevin ensures all Standpoint projects maintain the highest safety standards. He is currently an arson investigator and peace officer.
Previously, Kevin led a large metropolitan fire department’s new construction division, ensuring building and fire code requirements and variances were met. In addition, he has served as an inspector and supervisor of the fire department’s commercial fire code enforcement.
Kevin holds many professional certifications including Texas Commission of Law Enforcement – Texas Peace Officer; National Association of Fire Investigators – Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator; Texas Commission on Fire Prevention – Master Arson Investigator, Master Fire Inspector and Instructor I; and International Fire Service Accreditation Congress – Inspector I and Inspector II.
Kevin holds a bachelor's degree in economics from The University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Dallas with his wife, two daughters and his yellow lab, Mabel.
